In this short episode I talk about why I think willpower is an awful strategy for changing your life. What it boils down to is this: willpower works in the short terms but we all run out at some point and revert back to our old patterns.
What works better, for me most of the time at least, is to build very small and easy-to-accomplish habits into my life that move me toward my goals. Habits trump willpower and bursts of motivation any day.
Oh yea, and I changed the name of this podcast.
